junior interior design assistant

Linden Design Co is growing our talented team! We are looking for a friendly interior designer who has a beautiful and thought-out portfolio of residential projects. We are looking for someone who loves interiors and is capable of putting that knowledge into social media work.  Wage is $17.60 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide design and administrative support during all phases of design projects 

• Organize and maintain schedules, spec sheets, project binders, and materials 

• Assist in the setup of client presentations, presentation boards, mood boards, FF&E, colour palette, lighting, etc. 

• Running sample pickups from vendors, and miscellaneous tasks outside of the office 

• Manage tasks on multiple projects at once 

• Social media schedule and content creation 

• Working in Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite  

• Helping with overflow of administrative tasks 

• Working within AutoCAD and Sketchup 

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of interior design experience (Currently in school or have a Bachelors of Interior Design) 

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, Sketchup and Adobe Suite 

• Strong use of all social media platforms, and enthusiastic to use them 

• A strong interior design eye 

• High level of attention to detail and organization 

• Exceptional follow through and ability to stay on style and budget 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Must have your own cell phone 

• Must have valid driver's license and transportation to office 

• Available to work from Design Studio in Belleville On
